There's no one way to do therapy.  However, there may be a particular treatment plan that works best for you.  For that reason, I offer a number of different modalities in which to work.  If you're not sure where to start, call me and we can discuss it further.  Also, check out the options below for more information.

As always, I'm here to answer questions, so please don't hesitate to ask.

Traditionally, psychotherapy is a one-on-one process, and this is a very effective way to work.  With individual therapy, you have a safe, confidential space in which to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors...your deepest fantasies and secrets.  It's all about you.  Together, we can find a way towards a happier, healthier, more satisfying, fulfilling life. Individual therapy is an effective and almost magical pathway towards achieving self-knowledge, peace of mind, improving your relationship with yourself and others, igniting creativity, alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression, healing from trauma, and gaining support during crises and transitions. With therapy, it is possible to achieve a more peaceful, balanced, and fulfilling life with healthier, more meaningful relationships.

I utilize a number of different stragegies to help you reach your goals, including psychodynamic, intersubjective, existential, and solution focused talk therapy, art therapy, and somatic therapy.  The treatment is tailored to the individual.

Workshops are a wonderful opportunity to either dip your toe into the world of self-healing and actualization or deepen your process of healing and self-discovery. They are a great addition to whatever other forms of therapy or self-care you are already engaging in.

I offer workshops throughout the year on Mindfuless, Building and attracting healthy relationships, and Unlocking artistic creativity.  For information on upcoming workshops, please call or email.

Group therapy is a unique and wonderful experience which allows one to overcome social anxiety, achieve increased comfort in social environments, allevieate symptoms of depression, and find support amongst your peers.  Discover a sense of inner peace as you connect more genuinely and intimately with others.  Identify patterns of behavior and learn new, more effective ways of communicating.  Group therapy is a playground to try new ways of interacting with otehrs while breaking free of subconscious or ingrained patterns of relating to family members, friends, coworkers, and others.

In my years as a therapist, I have developed a method of working with artists and Entertainment Industry professionals that has proven to be more effective and compassionate than many other mental health practitioners.  As a result, I have been called upon repeatedly to consult, lecture, and supervise other therapists in their work with artists.  It is something I love to do, as I have seen, by extension, hundreds and thousands of patients being helped using my methods.  If you are interested in booking a lecture, supervision, or training, please feel free to contact me.  I am always happy to help.

As a part of my practice I offer consultations in several different ways.

I am available to supervise or consult with other medical or mental health practitioners, teachers, or attorneys.

I also have been hired to work within the Entertainment Industry by coaching performers, writers, and directiors.  I have been consulted with regarding character development to ensure that personality disorders, mental health disorders, and relational dynamics are presented in a natural and believable manner both in writing and on screen.

Additionally, I have been hired to come to sets or offices to help improve communication and relationships in various working environments.  Such group work makes for a much more pleasant and productive environment in which to work.  Imagine waking up and feeling excited to go to work rather than dreading it!  Totally possible.

Have you come to a place where you realize things aren't working in your relationship?  Want to avoid future heartache?  Desperate for help?  Look, I know it's not easy to admit that you're at this point, let alone let someone else into the intimacy of your relationship.  You may not want to admit your part in things or you may be scared that things will end.  There are a number of reasons that bring couples into therapy. There is hope. The first step is admitting you need help and putting your cards on the table. A therapist can help facilitate communication so that each person feels heard and all feelings are acknowledged.  Come together to heal wounds in the relationship, old or new.  Deepen your level of intimacy and improve your sex life.  Find new, more effective ways of communicating. Learn tools to be able to work through all these issues on your own outside of the therapy room in the years to come.  Do it together. Start now.

Whether its the whole famliy or just a portion of it, family therapy helps to deepen connections.  Come together during crises or transitions.  Overcome past hurts.  Increase intimacy and feelings of safety as well as self-expression.  After all, your family may be the most important relationships you ever have.  Make them the best they can be.
