PRIVATE PRACTICE
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I currently practice exclusively virtually (video and phone sessions). My home base is in Los Angeles, where most of my clients are located, but I am open to clients throughout California. My primary focus in my practice is to help my clients to create balanced, fulfilling lives and healthy relationships. I see individuals who struggle with a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, grief, eating disorders, and addictions. I also facilitate several therapy groups and teach workshops on learning mindfulness practices, improving relationship issues, and helping artists reach their full creative potential in an emotionally balanced way.
I am also a media consultant, serving to facilitate accurate representation of psychological disorders and complex relational dynamics in film, television, books, etc.. I have been hired by actors, singers, musicians, and writers as a coach to help overcome creative or emotional blocks, performance anxiety, and networking anxiety. Coaching may also involve setting appropriate career goals or preparing for an audition. I am available to work with companies and organizations to help facilitate a positive work environment, whether it be on set or in an office.
I am an active member of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles (GPALA). In the past, I have served as the organization's Event Coordinator, planning their training events throughout the year. I was also a Board Member and oversaw all educational components of this organization for several years. Working with groups has always been a passion of mine, and I am proud to be associated with this wonderful group of therapists. For more information on GPALA, visit www.gpala.org.

As part of my continuing education, I regularly engage in trainings related to interpersonal neurobiology, trauma, addiction, mindfulness, and hypnosis.

BACKGROUND
I received my training at the highly regarded Maple Counseling Center (TMCC), where I worked intensively with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families for over three years. In my time at TMCC, I led both adult and adolescent psychotherapy groups and underwent specialized training in Intake and Assessment, Domestic Violence, Group Therapy, and Child and Adolescent Development.
In conjunction with my time at TMCC, I worked at Beverly Hills High School and Moreno High School. In addition to working individually with adolescents at these schools, I taught a class in Peer Counseling and supervised junior and senior high school students in their therapeutic work with other teens, which included individual counseling, bullying prevention, conflict mediation, and support groups.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent 15+ years working in a variety of ways in the Entertainment business. Because of this experience, I have a unique understanding of the inner workings of an artist’s mind and spirit and have come to specialize in working with Entertainment Industry professionals. I have helped many artists tackle the complex emotional issues that emerge from pursuing a career in this industry.
